Welcome to Cody, Wyoming, site of the MCMLA 2008 Annual Meeting!
What better place to embark on our exploration of “Open Places, Frontier Spaces” than Cody, Wyoming, the eastern gateway to Yellowstone National Park, and a “small western town with a big city attitude. “
When it comes to exploring new frontiers, medical librarians have always been at the forefront. This year’s meeting focuses on identifying and meeting the challenges pertaining to health and information access on the frontiers of the rural and urban areas of our region. Our sparkling program of continuing education classes, paper presentations and posters will keep you busier than a prairie dog after a gully washer!
We’ll look at obstacles and opportunities found in life on the frontier from a variety of viewpoints and experiences. We’ve rounded up our conference speakers and corralled some local experts for a pair of stimulating and thought-provoking panel discussions. Panel members include
